The Data, Policy and Innovation Centre (DPIC) is a pioneering academia government data partnership between the Government of Odisha and the University of Chicago Trust, advancing the frontier of data-driven governance in India.
Based in Bhubaneswar and embedded within Odisha’s policy ecosystem, DPIC transforms everyday administrative data into actionable intelligence that enables faster, smarter public decisions for data-driven public impact. Drawing on world-class expertise in policy evaluation, data science and applied AI, we work directly with government departments to tackle priority challenges in skilling, AI-based citizen services, health, social protection, and migration.
